عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ:
كَانَتْ بَنُو عَامِرٍ أَسَرُوا رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَأَسَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا مِنْ ثَقِيفَ، وَأَخَذُوا نَاقَةً كَانَتْ تَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهَا الْحَاجُّ، فَمَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُوثَقٌ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَعَطَفَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: عَلَى مَا أُحْبَسُ وَتُؤْخَذُ سَابِقَةُ الْحَاجِّ ؟ قَالَ: " بِجَرِيرَةِ حُلَفَائِكَ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ "، وَكَانَتْ بَنُو عَامِرٍ مِنْ حُلَفَاءِ ثَقِيفَ، ثُمَّ أَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَدَعَاهُ أَيْضًا: يَا مُحَمَّدُ فَأَجَابَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَوْ قُلْتَ ذَلِكَ وَأَنْتَ تَمْلِكُ أَمْرَكَ أَفْلَحْتَ كُلَّ الْفَلَاحِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَجَازَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَنَادَاهُ أَيْضًا فَرَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: أَطْعِمْنِي فَإِنِّي جَائِعٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " هَذِهِ حَاجَتُكَ " فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِطَعَامٍ، ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَادَى الرَّجُلَ بِالرَّجُلَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ أُسِرَا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ. قَالَ: فَأَغَارَ نَاسٌ عَلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَأَصَابُوا نَاقَةً، وَأَصَابُوا امْرَأَةً أَيْضًا، فَذَهَبُوا بِهِمْ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ، فَقَامَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ بَعْضِ اللَّيْلِ إِلَى إِبِلِهِمْ، وَكَانُوا يُرِيحُونَهَا عِنْدَ أَفْنِيَتِهِمْ، فَكُلَّمَا دَنَتْ مِنْ بَعِيرٍ لِتَرْكَبَهُ رَغَا، حَتَّى جَاءَتْ إِلَى نَاقَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَهِيَ نَاقَةٌ ذَلُولٌ، فَلَمْ تَرْغُ، حَتَّى قَعَدَتْ فِي عَجُزِهَا ثُمَّ صَاحَتْ بِهَا، قَالَ: وَنَذِرَ بِهَا الْقَوْمُ، فَرَكِبُوا فِي طَلَبِهَا، فَنَذَرَتْ وَهِيَ مُنْطَلِقَةٌ، وَهُمْ فِي أَثَرِهَا إِنِ اللهُ أَنْجَاهَا عَلَيْهَا لَتَنْحَرَنَّهَا، قَالَ: فَنَجَتْ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَتِ الْمَدِينَةَ، أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقِيلَ: هَذِهِ نَاقَتُكَ، جَاءَتْ عَلَيْهَا فُلَانَةُ، أَنْجَاهَا اللهُ عَلَيْهَا فَأَتَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْمَرْأَةِ فَسَأَلَهَا: " كَيْفَ صَنَعْتِ ؟ " فَأَخْبَرَتْهُ، فَنَذَرْتُ وَهُمْ فِي طَلَبِي، إِنِ اللهُ أَنْجَانِي عَلَيْهَا أَنْ أَنْحَرَهَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " بِئْسَ مَا جَزَيْتِهَا إِذًا، لَا وَفَاءَ لِنَذْرٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ، وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ
Translation
✧ Banu 'Amir had captured two men from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ captured a man from Thaqif, and they took a she-camel on which the pilgrims used to race. The Prophet ﷺ passed by him while he was bound, and he said, 'O Muhammad, O Muhammad!' So he turned to him, and he said, 'For what am I being held and the racing camel of the pilgrims taken?' He said, 'For the crime of your allies from Banu 'Amir.' Banu 'Amir were allies of Thaqif. Then the Prophet ﷺ went on, and he called him again, 'O Muhammad!' He answered him, and he said, 'I am a Muslim.' He said, 'If you had said that while you had control of your affair, you would have prospered completely.' He said, 'Then the Prophet ﷺ went on, and he called him again, so he returned to him. He said, 'Feed me, for I am hungry.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'This is your need.' He ordered food for him. Then the Prophet ﷺ ransomed the man for the two men who had been captured from his companions. He said, 'Some people raided an area of Madinah and seized a she-camel and also seized a woman, and they took them to their camp. The woman arose during part of the night to their camels, and they would let them rest near their courtyards. Every time she approached a camel to mount it, it bellowed, until she came to the she-camel of the Prophet ﷺ, which was a docile camel, and it did not bellow. She sat on its hindquarters, then urged it on. The people became aware of her and rode in pursuit of her. She made a vow while fleeing, with them following her: if Allah delivered her on it, she would certainly slaughter it. She escaped, and when she arrived in Madinah, the Prophet ﷺ was told, 'This is your she-camel; so-and-so came on it; Allah delivered her on it.' The Prophet ﷺ brought the woman and asked her, 'What did you do?' She told him: 'I vowed while they were pursuing me that if Allah delivered me on it, I would slaughter it.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'What a bad reward you would give it, then. There is no fulfillment of a vow in disobedience to Allah, nor in what the son of Adam does not own.'
