عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ
فِي رَجُلٍ يَجِدُ سِلْعَتَهُ فِي يَدِ رَجُلٍ فَيَقُولُ: اشْتَرَيْتُهَا مِنَ الْعَدُوِّ ؟ قَالَ: " إِذَا اشْتَرَاهَا بِبَيِّنَةٍ أَخَذَهَا صَاحِبُهَا بِالثَّمَنِ، فَإِنْ أَقَامَ الْبَيِّنَةَ عَلَى الشِّرَاءِ، وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ كَمِ الثَّمَنُ، فَالْقَوْلُ قَوْلُ الْمُشْتَرِي
Translation
✧ Regarding a man who finds his commodity in the possession of another man and says: 'Did you buy it from the enemy?' He said: 'If he bought it with proof, its owner takes it in exchange for the price. If he establishes proof of the purchase but does not know the price, the word of the purchaser is accepted.'
