عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
عَابَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ فِي رَجُلٍ أَخَذَ فِي الْحِلِّ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَهُ الْحَرَمَ، ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهُ إِلَى الْحِلِّ فَقَتَلَهُ قَالَ: " أَدْخَلَهُ الْحَرَمَ ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَهُ " يَقُولُ: " أَدْخَلَهُ بِأَمَانٍ " وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ اتَّهَمَهُ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ فِي بَعْضِ الْأَمْرِ، وَأَعَانَ عَلَيْهِ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ، فَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَمْ يَرَ عَلَيْهِ قَتْلًا قَالَ: فَلَمْ يَمْكُثِ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا حَتَّى هَلَكَ
Translation
✧ Ibn Abbas faulted Ibn al-Zubayr regarding a man who was seized in the profane land, then brought into the Haram, then taken out to the profane land and killed. He said: 'He brought him into the Haram and then took him out,' saying: 'He brought him in under protection.' The man had been suspected by Ibn al-Zubayr in some matter, and he had assisted Abd al-Malik against him. Ibn Abbas did not consider him deserving of execution. He said: Ibn al-Zubayr did not remain after that except a short while until he perished.
