عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ:
لَوْ وَجَدْتُ فِيهِ قَاتِلَ الْخَطَّابِ مَا مَسَسْتُهُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ
Translation
✧ If I found in it the killer of al-Khattab, I would not touch him until he leaves it.
