✧ The Construction of the Ka'bah

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
لَمَّا أُمِرَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ، قَامَ عَلَى الْمَقَامِ فَقَالَ: يَا عِبَادَ اللهِ، أَجِيبُوا اللهَ فَقَالُوا: لَبَّيْكَ رَبَّنَا لَبَّيْكَ، فَمَنْ حَجَّ فَهُوَ مِمَّنْ أَجَابَ دَعْوَةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ".
Translation
✧ When Abraham was commanded to proclaim the pilgrimage to the people, he stood on the Station and said: 'O servants of God, answer God.' They said: 'Labbaik Rabbana labbaik.' So whoever performs the pilgrimage is among those who answered Abraham's call.
