عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، وَغَيْرَهُ يُحَدِّثُونَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ يَزِيدُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ:
أَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ لِأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، وَأُسَامَةُ رَدِيفُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ الْبَيْتَ أَرْسَلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ طَلْحَةَ فَجَاءَ بِمِفْتَاحٍ إِلَيْهِ، فَفَتَحَهُ، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ وَبِلَالٌ، فَمَكَثُوا فِي الْبَيْتِ طَوِيلًا، وَأَغْلَقُوا الْبَابَ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَابْتَدَرُوا الْبَيْتَ فَسَبَقَهُمْ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَآخَرُ مَعَهُ، فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَبْدُ اللهِ، يَسْأَلُ بِلَالًا فَقَالَ: أَيْنَ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأَرَاهُ حَيْثُ صَلَّى، وَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ كَمْ صَلَّى " قَالَ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ " إِذَا دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ مَشَى قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ وَجَعَلَ الْبَابَ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِهِ، ثُمَّ مَشَى حَتَّى يَكُونَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجِدَارِ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ ثَلَاثَةِ أَذْرُعٍ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، يَتَوَخَّى الْمَكَانَ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَهُ بِلَالٌ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِيهِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ came on the day of the conquest on a camel belonging to Usama b. Zayd, with Usama riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, and with him were Bilal and Uthman b. Talha. When he reached the House, he sent Uthman b. Talha, who brought him a key. He opened it, and the Prophet ﷺ, Usama b. Zayd, Uthman b. Talha, and Bilal entered. They remained in the House for a long time and closed the door. Then the Prophet ﷺ came out to them, and they hastened to the House. Abdullah b. Umar and another man with him beat them to it. Abdullah asked Bilal: 'Where did the Prophet ﷺ pray?' He showed him where he prayed, but he did not ask him how many rakʿahs he prayed. He said: Whenever Abdullah b. Umar entered the Kaʿbah, he would walk straight ahead, putting the door behind his back, then walk until there was about three cubits between him and the wall, then pray, aiming for the spot where Bilal told him the Prophet ﷺ had prayed.
