machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I asked ʿAṭāʾ, “If he has enough water to wash his face, feet, and forearms, may he leave the water and wipe with dust if he wishes?” He said, “No, by my life.” I asked him, “If he has enough to wash only his face and private parts?” He said, “Let him wash his face and private parts, then wipe his palms with dust.” I asked, “And if he has enough to wash his private parts?” He said, “Let him wash his private parts and wipe his face and palms with dust.”
