✧ Kissing the Corner

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يُقَبِّلُ الْحَجَرَ وَيَقُولُ: " وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ وَلَكِنْ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِكَ حَفِيًّا
Translation
✧ I saw 'Umar b. al-Khattab kissing the Stone and saying: "By Allah, I know that you are a stone, but I saw Abu al-Qasim ﷺ being devoted to you."
