✧ Kissing the Corner

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يُقَبِّلُ الرُّكْنَ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: " وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُقَبِّلُكَ وَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ، وَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللهَ رَبِّي، وَلَكِنْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَبَّلَكَ فَقَبَّلْتُكَ
Translation
✧ I saw 'Umar b. al-Khattab kissing the corner, and he would say: "By Allah, I kiss you while I know that you are a stone, and I know that Allah is my Lord, but I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kiss you, so I kissed you."
