عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ، أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَوْ غَيْرَهُ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ:
جَلَسْتُ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَسَلَّمْتُ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ عَنِ الْهَدِيَّةِ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ قَالَ: حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: جَعَلْتُ عَلَيَّ نَذْرًا أَنْ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ إِذْ سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ: " وَمَا يَصْنَعُ الْبَيْتُ بِذَلِكَ ؟ " فَقَالَ: قَدْ فَعَلْتُهُ قَالَ: فَأَوْفِ مَا قُلْتَ: فَقُلْتُ: وَأَنَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ: " وَأَنْتَ أَيْضًا " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: " فَأَوْفِ " وَقَدْ أَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمَا وَأَمَرَهُمَا أَنْ يُوَفِّيَاهُ
Translation
✧ I sat with Ibn Umar and greeted him, intending to ask him about the gift for the House. He said: I think he said: I made a vow upon myself that I would give a gift to it, when a man asked him about that. He said: "What would the House do with that?" The man said: I have already done it. He said: "Then fulfill what you said." I said: And I, O Abu Abd al-Rahman? He said: "And you as well?" I said: Yes. He said: "Then fulfill it," and he had disapproved of that for both of them and commanded both of them to fulfill it.
