✧ The Gift for the House

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ قَالَتْ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ، فَسُئِلَتْ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَهْدَى إِلَى الْبَيْتِ شَيْئًا، فَقَالَتْ: " لِيَجْعَلُوهُ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ، فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْبَيْتَ يُنْفَقُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ مَالِ اللهِ
Translation
✧ I was with Aisha when she was asked about a man who gave a gift to the House. She said: "Let them put it among the poor, for this House is maintained from the wealth of God."
