✧ The Domestic Donkey

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ: إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُكْفِئُوا الْقُدُورَ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ، فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ كَانَ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيُّ يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ،
Translation
✧ I said to Abu al-Sha'tha': They say that the Prophet ﷺ commanded them to overturn the cooking pots containing donkey meat. He said: Al-Hakam b. Amr al-Ghifari used to say that.
