✧ The Domestic Donkey

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ،
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ لَحْمِ الْحِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ فَذَكَرَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ شَيْئًا ؟ - قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ - فَرَخَّصَ لَهُ
Translation
✧ A man from his people asked the Prophet ﷺ about the meat of the domestic donkey, and mentioned something of their situation?—He said: I do not know what it was—so he permitted it for him.
