عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْخِضَابِ لِلنِّسَاءِ، فَقَالَ: أَمَّا نِسَاؤُنَا فَيَخْتَضِبْنَ إِذَا صَلَّيْنَ الْعِشَاءَ، ثُمَّ يُطْلِقْنَ عَنْ أَيْدِيهِنَّ لِلصُّبْحِ، ثُمَّ يُعِدْنَ عَلَيْهَا إِلَى صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَأَحْسَنَّ الْخِضَابَ وَلَا يَمْنَعُهُنَّ الصَّلَاةَ

Translation

✧ I asked Ibn Abbas about dyeing for women. He said: As for our women, they dye when they have prayed the evening prayer, then they release their hands for the morning prayer, then they reapply it until the noon prayer and perfect the dye, and it does not prevent them from praying.
