✧ Fasting on the Day of Ashura

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
لَمْ يَكُنِ ابْنُ عُمَرَ " يَصُومُ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ إِذَا كَانَ مُسَافِرًا، فَإِذَا كَانَ مُقِيمًا صَامَهُ
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar would not fast the day of Ashura when he was traveling, but when he was resident he fasted it.
