أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ،
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ فِي يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ: خَالِفُوا الْيَهُودَ وَصُومُوا التَّاسِعَ وَالْعَاشِرَ
Translation

✧ He heard Ibn Abbas say concerning the day of Ashura: 'Differ from the Jews; fast the ninth and the tenth.'
