✧ Fasting on the Day of Ashura

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ:
مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ آمَرَ بِصَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَأَبِي مُوسَى
Translation
✧ I have not seen anyone more emphatic in commanding the fast of the day of Ashura than Ali and Abu Musa.
