✧ Breaking a voluntary fast and fasting it if one did not intend it at night

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ صَائِمًا، ثُمَّ دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ آخِرَ النَّهَارِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ مُفْطِرًا، فَقُلْتُ: مَا شَأْنُكَ ؟ فَقَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ جَارِيَةً لِي فَأَعْجَبَتْنِي، فَوَقَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا، أَمَا إِنِّي أَزِيدُكَ أُخْرَى إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَصَابَتْ فَاحِشَةً فَحَصَّنَّاهَا
Translation
✧ I entered upon Ibn Abbas at the beginning of the day and found him fasting. Then I entered upon him at the end of the day and found him not fasting. I said: What is your situation? He said: I saw a slave girl of mine and she pleased me, so I had intercourse with her. Indeed, I will tell you another thing: she had committed an indecency, so we kept her chaste.
