✧ Wiping over the leather socks

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَبَالَ قَائِمًا عَلَى سُبَاطَةِ قَوْمٍ - يَعْنِي كُنَاسَتَهُ - ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ
Translation
✧ I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ when he urinated standing on a people's garbage dump — meaning its refuse — then he moved aside. I brought him water, and he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
