عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْعَسَلِ أَفِيهِ صَدَقَةٌ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: " لَيْسَ بِأَرْضِنَا عَسَلٌ "، وَلَكِنْ سَأَلْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ حَكِيمٍ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ: " لَيْسَ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ "، قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ: " هُوَ عَدْلٌ مَأْمُونٌ صَدَقَ
Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz asked me about honey: Is there charity due on it? I said: There is no honey in our land, but I asked al-Mughīra b. Ḥakīm about it, and he said: There is nothing due on it. ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz said: He is upright and trustworthy; he spoke the truth.
