عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
بَعَثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ، فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ آخُذَ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ قَالَ: فَقَالَ لِي الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ: لَيْسَ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ، فَكَتَبْتُ فِيهِ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: " صَدَقَ، وَهُوَ عَدْلٌ رِضًى، وَلَيْسَ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ
Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz sent me to Yemen, and I wanted to take charity from honey. He said: Al-Mughīra b. Ḥakīm said to me: There is nothing due on it. So I wrote to ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz about it. He said: He spoke the truth, and he is upright and acceptable. There is nothing due on it.
