✧ Charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلثَّوْرِيِّ:
الشُّرَطِيُّ يُسْتَعَانُ بِهِ عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ قَدْ يُعْطَى مِنْهَا الدِّرْهَمَ وَالدِّرْهَمَيْنِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا إِنَّمَا يُعْطَى مِنَ الْفَيْءِ، وَالْجِزْيَةِ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ لِأَهْلِهَا
Translation
✧ Regarding the policeman who is used for something concerning charity, may he be given from it a dirham or two dirhams? He said: 'No. He is only given from the war booty and the poll tax, while charity belongs to its rightful recipients.'
