✧ Sale of charity before it is taken in hand

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ:

أَنَّ مَنْ مَضَى كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ ابْتِيَاعَ صَدَقَاتِهِمْ، قَالَ: " فَإِنْ فَعَلْتَ بَعْدَ مَا تُقْبَضُ مِنْكَ فَلَا بَأْسَ، وَأَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلَ ".

Translation

✧ Those who passed away used to dislike buying back their charities. He said: “If you do it after it is taken from you, there is no harm, though I prefer that you do not do it.”
