عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِابْنِ طَاوُسٍ: أَبِيعُ الصَّدَقَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُعْتَقَلَ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا "، قُلْتُ: تَجْعَلُ الْمُبْتَاعَ بِالْخِيَارِ ؟ قَالَ: " سَمِعْنَا أَنْ لَا تُبْتَاعَ حَتَّى تُعْتَقَلَ
Translation

✧ I said to Ibn Ṭāwūs: May I sell the zakat before it is taken in hand? He said: “No.” I said: Do you give the buyer the option? He said: “We have heard that it should not be bought until it is taken in hand.”
