عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي وَغَيْرَهُ يَذْكُرُونَ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ " كَتَبَ فِي الْغَنَمِ أَنْ يُقَسَّمَ أَثْلَاثًا، ثُمَّ يَخْتَارُ سَيِّدُهَا ثُلُثًا، وَيَخْتَارُ الْمُصَدِّقُ حَقَّهُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ الْأَوْسَطِ
Translation
✧ Umar wrote regarding sheep that they should be divided into thirds, then their owner chooses a third, and the collector chooses his due from the middle third.
