عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَدُوسٍ يُقَالَ لَهُ: دَيْسَمٌ، عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَّةِ -
وَكَانَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَسَمَّاهُ بَشِيرًا قَالَ: أَتَيْنَاهُ، فَقُلْنَا إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الصَّدَقَةِ يَعْتَدُونَ عَلَيْنَا أَفَنَكْتُمُهُمْ قَدْرَ مَا يَزِيدُونَ عَلَيْنَا ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنِ اجْمَعُوهَا، فَإِذَا أَخَذُوهَا فَأْمُرْهُمْ فَلْيُصَلُّوا عَلَيْكُمْ، ثُمَّ تَلَا: ﴿وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ صَلاتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَهُمْ ﴾قَالَ: قُلْنَا إِنَّ لَنَا جِيرَةً مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ لَا تَشُذُّ لَنَا شَاةٌ إِلَّا ذَهَبُوا بِهَا، وَإِنَّهَا تَخْفَى لَنَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ أَشْيَاءُ، أَفَنَأْخُذُهَا ؟ قَالَ: " لَا
Translation
✧ He had come to the Prophet ﷺ and he named him Bashir. He said: We came to him and said: "The zakah collectors transgress against us. Should we conceal from them the amount they take in excess?" He said: "No, but gather it, and when they take it, tell them to pray for you." Then he recited: "And pray for them; indeed your prayer is a comfort for them" (Q 9:103). He said: We said: "We have neighbors from Banu Tamim. No sheep of ours strays but they take it, and some of their wealth is hidden from us. Should we take it?" He said: "No."
