✧ The trial of the grave

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ:
إِنَّمَا يُفْتَتَنُ رَجُلَانِ مُؤْمِنٌ وَمُنَافِقٌ، " أَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ فَيُفْتَنُ سَبْعًا، وَأَمَّا الْمُنَافِقُ فَيُفْتَنُ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا، وَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ فَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ وَلَا يَعْرِفُهُ "
Translation
✧ Only two men are tested: a believer and a hypocrite. As for the believer, he is tested for seven days, and as for the hypocrite, he is tested for forty mornings. As for the disbeliever, he is not asked about Muhammad and does not know him.
