عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ وَذَكَرَ مُنْكَرًا وَنَكِيرًا: يَخْرُجَانِ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمَا وَأَعْيُنِهِمَا النَّارُ، وَعَلَيْهِمَا الْمُسُوحُ، وَتَرْجُفُ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ، حَتَّى إِذَا حِيلَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ عَقْلِهِ فَلَمْ يَعْقِلْ شَيْئًا بِعَقْلِهِ إِلَّا مَا أَلْقَى اللهُ عَلَى لِسَانِهِ فَقَالَا: مَنْ رَبُّكَ
Translation
✧ Ubayd b. Umayr said, mentioning Munkar and Nakir: 'They come out with fire in their mouths and eyes, wearing haircloth, and the earth trembles with them, until when he is cut off from his intellect and cannot reason anything with his intellect except what Allah puts upon his tongue, they say: "Who is your Lord?"'
