✧ Patience, weeping, and wailing

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ شَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
Translation
✧ He is not one of us who tears open the collars, strikes the cheeks, and calls with the call of the Jahiliyyah.
