✧ Patience, weeping, and wailing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ:
يَرْحَمُ اللهُ عُمَرَ وَابْنَ عُمَرَ سَمِعَا شَيْئًا لَمْ يَحْفَظَاهُ، إِنَّمَا مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِهَالِكٍ يَبْكِي عَلَيْهِ أَهْلُهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنَّ أَهْلَهُ يَبْكُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُعَذَّبُ قَالَتْ: وَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ قَدْ أَحْرَمَ
Translation
✧ May God have mercy on 'Umar and Ibn 'Umar. They heard something but did not remember it correctly. The Prophet ﷺ passed by a deceased person whose family was weeping over him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, his family are weeping over him, and he is being punished.' She said: The man had been in a state of ihram.
