Translation

✧ I heard Ibn 'Umar say while he was at the funeral of Rafi' b. Khadij, and the women stood weeping over Rafi'. He made them sit down repeatedly, then said to them, 'Woe to you! Rafi' b. Khadij is an old man with no strength to endure the punishment, and indeed the deceased is punished by the weeping of his family over him.'
