Translation

✧ On the day of Uhud, the Prophet ﷺ looked over the martyrs who were killed that day and said: “I have witnessed over these, so shroud them in their blood.” He would bury two men or three in one grave and ask which of them had memorized more of the Qur'an, and they would put him forward. Jabir said: My father and my paternal uncle were buried in one grave that day.
