✧ The prayer over the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ:
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلشُّهَدَاءِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: " إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ قَدْ مَضَوْا، وَقَدْ شَهِدْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلُوا مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا، وَلَكِنَّكُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْ أُجُورِكُمْ، وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا تُحْدِثُونَ بَعْدِي
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said concerning the martyrs on the day of Uhud: “These have passed on, and I have witnessed over them, and they have not consumed any of their rewards. But you will consume from your rewards, and I do not know what you will innovate after me.”
