✧ The prayer over the captive

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى السَّبْيِ، فَقَالَ: " صَلِّ عَلَى مَنْ صَلَّى مِنْهُمْ
Translation
✧ I asked al-Shaʿbī about praying over the captive. He said: "Pray over those of them who prayed."
