✧ The prayer over the small child and the miscarried fetus, and its inheritance

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَتُصَلِّي عَلَى الَّذِي قَدِ اسْتَهَلَّ فَصَاعِدًا ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، فَقُلْتُ: فَوَلَدٌ خَرَجَ مَيِّتًا ثَلَاثًا ؟ قَالَ: " لَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': 'Do you pray over one who has cried out and upward?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'And a child born dead, three times?' He said: 'I have not heard that such a one is prayed over.'
