✧ Washing a person when death approaches him, and turning the deceased toward the Qibla

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
أَكَانَ يُؤْمَرُ بِالْمَرْءِ إِذَا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ أَنْ يُطَهَّرَ بِالْغُسْلِ ؟ قَالَ: " إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَحَسَنٌ
Translation

✧ Was a person, when death approached him, commanded to be purified by washing? He said: That is indeed good.
