أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: رَجُلٌ قَدْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ كُمْ يُصَلِّي ؟ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ: " وَلِمَ تَفُوتُهُ الْجُمُعَةُ ؟ " فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ: " أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَوْ فَاتَتْنِي الْجُمُعَةُ صَلَّيْتُ أَرْبَعًا
Translation
✧ A man came to 'Imran b. al-Husayn and said: A man has missed the Friday prayer; how much should he pray? 'Imran said: Why would he miss the Friday prayer? When the man turned away, 'Imran said: Indeed, if I missed the Friday prayer, I would pray four.
