عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَافْصِلْ بِكَلَامٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْطُبَ قُلْتُ: سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ فَرَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَيَكُونُ ذَلِكَ فَصْلًا ؟ قَالَ: " إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَزِيدَ أَيْضًا كَلَامَ السَّلَامِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, from ʿAṭāʾ, who said:
✧ When the imam comes out on Friday, separate with some speech before he delivers the sermon. I said: If the imam greets and I return the greeting, does that count as a separation? He said: "I would like you to add also the words of greeting in the Quran."
