عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
كُنَّ الْإِمَاءُ إِذَا صَلَّيْنَ تُلْقِينَ عَلَى رُءُوسِهِنَّ خِرْقَةً، كَذَلِكَ كُنَّ يَفْعَلْنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ
Translation
✧ Female slaves, when they prayed, would cast a cloth over their heads. Thus they used to do during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ.
