Translation
✧ The qunut is obedience to Allah. He used to perform qunut with four verses from the beginning of al-Baqarah, then the verse 'Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth...', and the verse 'Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence', and the verse 'To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth...' until the end of al-Baqarah, then 'Say: He is Allah, [who is] One', then 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak', then 'Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind'. Then he would say: 'O Allah, You alone we worship, and to You we pray and prostrate, and to You we strive and hasten. We fear Your punishment and hope for Your mercy; indeed, Your punishment will overtake the disbelievers. O Allah, we seek Your help and Your forgiveness, and we praise You, so we do not disbelieve in You, and we believe in You, and we cast off and forsake whoever disbelieves in You.' They mentioned that there are two surahs from al-Baqarah, and that their place is after 'Say: He is Allah, [who is] One'.
