✧ What Is Recited in Witr and How the Takbir Is Done in It

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِـ ﴿إِنَّا أَنْـزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ﴾، وَ ﴿إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ﴾، وَ ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ ﴾
Translation
✧ He used to perform witr with “Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Decree,” “When the earth is shaken,” and “Say: He is God, the One.”
