✧ How Many Rak'ahs Is the Witr

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ:
رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ لَيْلَةً وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ أَوْتَرَ فَاتَّبَعْتُهُ لِنَنْظُرَ مَنْ هُوَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ
Translation
✧ I saw 'Uthman one night while he was praying until at the end of the night he performed witr, so I followed him to see who he was, and it was 'Uthman.
