✧ Prayer while traveling

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ:
نَجِدُ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ وَصَلَاةَ الْحَضَرِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ، وَلَا نَجِدُ صَلَاةَ الْمُسَافِرِ، فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: " بَعَثَ اللهُ نَبِيَّهُ وَنَحْنُ أَجْفَى النَّاسِ، فَنَصْنَعُ كَمَا صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ
Translation
✧ We find the prayer of fear and the prayer of residence in the Qurʾān, but we do not find the prayer of the traveler. Ibn ʿUmar said: "Allah sent His Prophet when we were the most ignorant of people, so we do as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did."
