✧ Prayer while sitting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَهْلَ عَائِشَةَ يَذْكُرُونَ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَدِيدَ الْإِنْصَابِ لِجَسَدِهِ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ حِينَ دَخَلَ فِي السِّنِّ، وَثَقُلَ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مَا يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was very hard on his body in worship, except that when he entered old age and became heavy of flesh, most of his prayer was offered while sitting.
