عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لَهُ: دَعَوْتُ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ عَلَى رَجُلٍ فَسَمَّيْتُهُ بِاسْمِهِ قَالَ: قَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ صَلَاتُكَ، ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِي حِينَئِذٍ قَالَ: دَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِعَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَرَكَعَ، فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ، قَالَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَالْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، وَسَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ، قُلْتُ: فَدَعَا بِهَذَا وَسَمَّى مَا سَمَّى قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ فِي سُبْحَةٍ أَوْ مَكْتُوبَةٍ، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ دَعَا لَهُمْ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي، وَلَعَلَّهُ أُمِرَ بِذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، وَلَسْنَا كَهَيْئَتِهِ، قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: دَعَا لَهُمْ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَدْعُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِيمَا بَلَغَنِي
Translation
✧ I said to him: I supplicated in the obligatory prayer against a man and named him. He said: Your prayer is severed. Then he informed me then, saying: The Prophet ﷺ supplicated for 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah and bowed. When he raised his head from the bowing, he said while standing: "O Allah, save 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah, al-Walid b. al-Walid b. al-Mughirah, Salamah b. Hisham, and the weak among Your servants." I said: So he supplicated with this and named what he named? He said: I do not know whether it was in a voluntary prayer or an obligatory one. I said: What do you think if the Prophet ﷺ supplicated for them in the obligatory prayer? He said: I do not know. Perhaps the Prophet ﷺ was commanded to do that, and we are not like him. Ibn Jurayj said: 'Ata' said: He supplicated for them, then, as far as I have heard, he did not supplicate after that.
