عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ:
فَرَّ عَيَّاشُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، وَالْوَلِيدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَعَيَّاشٌ، وَسَلَمَةُ مُكَبَّلَانِ مُرْتَدِفَانِ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ، وَالْوَلِيدُ يَسُوقُ بِهِمَا، فَكُلِمَتْ إِصْبَعُ الْوَلِيدِ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ أَنْتِ إِلَّا إِصْبَعٌ دَمِيتِ وَفِي سَبِيلِ فَعَلِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَخْرَجَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ وَشَأْنَهُمْ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ النَّاسُ، فَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ فَرَكَعَ فِي أَوَّلِ رَكْعَةٍ مِنْهُمَا، فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ دَعَا لَهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ، فَقَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ عَيَّاشَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ هِشَامٍ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْجِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ وَطْأَتَكَ عَلَى مُضَرَ، وَاجْعَلْهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سِنِينَ كَسِنِي يُوسُفَ
Translation
✧ 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah, Salamah b. Hisham, and al-Walid b. al-Walid b. al-Mughirah fled from the polytheists to the Prophet ﷺ. 'Ayyash and Salamah were shackled, riding on a camel, and al-Walid was driving them. Al-Walid's finger was wounded, and he said: "Are you but a finger that has bled, and in the path of..." The Prophet ﷺ knew of their coming to him and their situation before the people knew. He prayed the dawn prayer and bowed in the first rak'ah. When he raised his head, he supplicated for them before prostrating, saying: "O Allah, save 'Ayyash b. Abi Rabi'ah. O Allah, save Salamah b. Hisham. O Allah, save al-Walid b. al-Walid. O Allah, save the weak among the believers. O Allah, tighten Your grip on Mudar and make it upon them like the years of Yusuf."
