✧ A man prays in his house then catches the congregation

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ مِحْجَنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَكَلَّمْتُهُ فِي حَاجَةٍ، ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ، فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالنَّاسِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ، فَوَجَدَنِي جَالِسًا، فَقَالَ لِي: مَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْلِمٍ ؟ " قُلْتُ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: " فَمَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ مَعَنَا ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ فِي رَحْلِي. قَالَ: " وَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ فِي رَحْلِكَ
Translation
✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and spoke to him about a need. Then the prayer was called while I was sitting. The Prophet ﷺ prayed with the people and then finished. He found me sitting and said to me: "Are you not a Muslim?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of God." He said: "What prevented you from praying with us?" I said: "I prayed in my camp." He said: "Even if you had prayed in your camp."
