✧ A man prays in his house then catches the congregation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ الْخُزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
صَلَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْفَجْرَ، فَانْحَرَفَ فَرَأَى رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ وَرَاءِ النَّاسِ، فَدَعَا بِهِمَا، فَجِيءَ بِهِمَا تُرْعَدُ فَرَائِصُهُمَا، فَقَالَ: مَا مَنَعَكُمَا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَا مَعَ النَّاسِ ؟ " " قَالَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، صَلَّيْنَا فِي الرِّحَالِ قَالَ: " " فَلَا تَفْعَلَا، إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي رَحْلِهِ، ثُمَّ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ، فَلْيُصَلِّهَا مَعَهُ، فَإِنَّهَا لَهُ نَافِلَةٌ
Translation
✧ We prayed Fajr with the Messenger of God ﷺ. He turned and saw two men behind the people. He called them and they were brought to him, their shoulders trembling. He said: "What prevented you two from praying with the people?" They said: "O Messenger of God, we prayed in our camps." He said: "Do not do that. When one of you prays in his camp and then catches the prayer with the imam, he should pray it with him, for it will be a supererogatory prayer for him."
