✧ The rulers who delay the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى، عَنِ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ صَامِتٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ:
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا سَتَجِيءُ أُمَرَاءُ يَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ حَتَّى لَا يُصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِمِيقَاتِهَا، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، ثُمَّ أُصَلِّي مَعَهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: There will come rulers who will be distracted by things until they do not pray the prayer at its appointed time. A man said: O Messenger of Allah, should I then pray with them? He said: Yes.
