✧ The man who prays a prayer without completing it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ:
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَرَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي صَلَاةً لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ دَعَاهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " مُنْذُ كَمْ صَلَّيْتَ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ " قَالَ: مُنْذُ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً، قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: مَا صَلَّيْتَ مُنْذُ كُنْتَ، وَلَوْ مُتَّ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى هَذَا لَمُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ فِطْرَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الَّذِي فُطِرَ عَلَيْهَا
Translation
✧ We were sitting with Hudhayfah in the mosque, and he saw a man praying a prayer without completing its bowing or prostration. When he finished, he called him and said to him: “Since when have you been praying this prayer?” He said: For forty years. Hudhayfah said: You have not prayed since you began, and if you were to die upon this, you would die upon other than the natural disposition of Muhammad the Prophet ﷺ, upon which he was created.
